| WHEN I WAS REFEREED TO JAKE FROM BROOKE CHRISTL PHOTOGRAPHY, I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO HIS WEBSITE TO SEE WHAT JAKE HAD TO OFFER. ONCE I WAS ON HIS WEBSITE AND RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM JAKE, I KNEW THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO LOOK ANY FURTHER FOR A DJ. I WAS PLANNING MY WEDDING IN OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. FROM ST. LOUIS AND IT WAS SO NICE TO HEAR THAT JAKE HAD A SET PRICE FOR EVERYTHING. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD HELP OUT WITH REHEARSAL, BRING OUT ALL OF HIS EQUIPMENT TO THE BEACH AND HAVE THE RECEPTION SET UP BEFORE THE WEDDING, BUT THE BEST PART IS WE COULD HAVE KARAOKE AT OUR RECEPTION ! ONCE WE GOT TO OUR RECEPTION, JAKE'S EQUIPMENT WAS SET UP AND HE JUST WENT WITH THE FLOW, BECAUSE AGAIN WE REALLY DIDN'T HAVE A PLAN. EVERYONE RAVED THAT WE HAD KARAOKE AT OUR WEDDING RECEPTION AND THAT THEY HAD A BLAST BECAUSE THE DJ WAS AWESOME. | We had Broadway Jake’s DJ service for our wedding on August 15/09 at the Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach, SC. The professionalism that they showed before and during the reception was absolutely wonderful. Jake and his assistant made our reception absolutely astonishing. We were both really happy that Jake was able to find all of our requested music including; C-A- N-A-D-A by Stompin Tom Connors and Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen since these songs complimented our family backgrounds. We had a last minute change with ceremony music and Jake was able to make it picture perfect. They kept our reception organized the whole time. Everyone was commenting about how well they both made the evening a lot of fun. | While planning our wedding, an over the top DJ was one of the most important things on our list of services needed. We were also working with a limited budget and needed to get this service for a good price. While out looking for photographers, we were given Jake and Kyle’ s card, so we called them. They met with us immediately to discuss their services and prices. It was at this point that we knew these two guys were going to be our DJs. They were very professional, yet personable, and they had an awesome price for what they offered. Not only do you get two AWESOME DJs, but they also work as the wedding director if you don’t already have one, which was amazing. Everything ran so smoothly the day of our wedding and the party afterwards was phenomenal thanks to Jake and Kyle. We owe them so much for being a huge part in making our special so remarkable. | Picking the DJ for your wedding is one of the difficult tasks. I wanted to make sure that we chose someone who was energetic and involved without turning it into games and playing just the typical line dance songs to get people to dance. I had interviewed a few people before meeting Jake and as soon as we met him and listened to his thoughts on the music and how he would DJ, I immediately knew he was the right DJ for our wedding. Being a bride is sometimes stressful and choosing music often ends up at the bottom of the list. I live out of state and Jake was awesome at emailing me songs and even mailed me CDs to listen to in the car and then send them back marking the ones I liked. He made sure that we didn't leave out any songs or dancing and played a role in setting up the wedding order. I was very worried the weekend of the wedding that no one would be dancing due to the different ages and preferences in music. Jake and Kyle made sure this was not the case. Looking for a DJ for your most special day can be very stressful. Jake was recommended by a friend who had him DJ on her special day. From the moment we contacted Jake, he was beyond accommodating!! He basically turned into our "Wedding Coordinator" doing both the music at the ceremony on the beach, as well as the reception. He made very helpful suggestions, because we had no idea where to start, and continued to be a godsend throughout! | When we started looking for a DJ we had no idea what to expect. We knew we wanted good music and for everyone to have a great time. Never would we have thought we'd be able to afford what we actually got from Jake and Kyle. They are so much more than DJs. They are the complete package for the DIY (Do it Yourself) bride and groom on a budget or anyone else looking for a great DJ. They were so helpful in coordinating the ceremony and reception. | We attended our friends' (Frank and Charlotte) wedding and we thought Jake was AWESOME, so we knew we had to have him DJ our wedding reception as well! Being that we were planning everything ourselves, Jake assured us that he would help keep everything together and organized during our special event. Boy, did he!! We couldn't have made it through everything without all of his help! But he and Joanna (his assistant) also helped out more that day than I could have ever imagine! While in my "Bridezilla" moment, my hair clip broke and I had NOTHING to style my hair with!! Jake and Joanna actually left to find hair clips for me so I could finish getting ready!! | A wedding is very stressful during the planning stages. When we first met Jake, all our worries regarding our daughter’s entertainment at her “fairy tale wedding” went out the window. It was apparent that Jake was extremely knowledgeable regarding wedding planning and genuinely cared for people so we hired him on the spot. We not only needed a DJ but a coordinator as well. From beginning to end Jake put us at ease with his easy going demeanor and his availability to meet with us on weekends especially since this was a destination wedding. I received his number as a recommendation from the owners of the inn who said he was good, but that was a complete understatement! We have been back from our honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen for a couple of weeks and now that things are settling down a little bit, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for everything that you did at our wedding. | Being an out of state bride from Pittsburgh and having a wedding at Myrtle Beach wasn't easy but my vendors sure made it easier on me. My husband and I traveled to Myrtle Beach to check and book all of our vendors in one trip. We visited a few DJ's and we were not impressed with their prices or services. We came across Broadway Jake and he was very easy to get ahold of. We met and we were like this guy is UNREAL! He doesn't overcharge you like the other vendors we met with who want to charge your separate rates for DJ and MC services. Jake does them both and a ton more. He doesn't charge you extra for coming to your rehearsal, he wants to be there. He wants to make sure you are happy. He freaking coordinated our entire wedding for us because we didn't have a planner and we really didn't know what the heck we were doing. He ran through our ceremony and what we were supposed to do. He made sure I was okay when I was freaking out about the rain, which by the grace of God went away so we could get married real quick on the Ocean Club terrace overlooking the ocean. He went above and beyond what he should do and he is A STEAL! I feel like we should've paid him more for the amount of work he did and everything he did for us in between. People were on the dance floor all night long and we had a small wedding. He doesn't try to charge you more because of were your venue is and he is an honest and respectable individual. Everyone loved him and had a blast. Austin is three years old and Jake took him and had him spinning the turn table, I about lost it! Very personable and everyone enjoyed him especially Brian and I. My husband and I are from Philadelphia, PA and we have traveled to Myrtle Beach together each year for vacation since we met - which is why we decided to have our wedding there. It was tough planning from 5 states away but luckily we found Jake. We are familiar with the area and have been to Broadway Louie’s plenty of times before and have always loved the energy and atmosphere Jake provides there. We found out that Jake does weddings by chance when we Googled “Myrtle Beach wedding DJ's” online. After we pulled up his page and went to the “Total Package Weddings” link and read his other reviews we were sure that we had found the right person. We met with Jake in his office where he told us about the service he provides - which is more than any other DJ we had spoken to - and honestly for the best price. He was genuine, friendly, and respectful. Jake literally helped orchestrate every part of our wedding - our lineup, schedule for the day, break down of the music for each part of the ceremony and reception, and all along treated us like we were part of his family or one of his best friends. Since we didn’t have a wedding planner and there wasn’t enough time for a rehearsal the night before he stepped in and really helped us to have the most beautiful flawless day possible. He arrived professionally dressed and kept our wedding party on pace and instructed them on what to do. He used the changes in his music to keep us on cue with what was or should be happening next. Jake even straightened out the train of my dress before I walked down the aisle with my Dad! Then during the reception he shined even more. He listened to our every request and more than followed through. This is someone who has music in his soul!! Keeping people on the dance floor is how he makes his living - EVERY DAY. It is an acquired skill that takes years of experience - which he has down pat! Between his karaoke shows, live entertainment at the hotels and resorts in the area, and radio shows, he is someone who knows how to read the crowd - and he did for our wedding as well. Everyone in our group loved him and kept talking about how on point he was. We all love to dance and he had us going the entire time. He made sure that we stayed on schedule and got all of our events in on time and worked with our photographers to make sure they were aware of what was next. We really couldn’t have asked for more - we consider ourselves very lucky that we were able to book Jake for our wedding date. He really helped to make it a dream come true. | We recently held out destination wedding at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach. It was not easy to find,meet with, and decide on vendors as our time in the area was limited. We traveled from New Jersey on several occasions and after meeting with Jake and Kyle, we were sure we were in good hands. Jake helped make the process easy for us, communicating with us regularly and even sending us a package via Fed Ex so we had hard copy to look through. The music library was impressively large, as we found every song we could even think to consider. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach, Jake took time out of his schedule to attend our rehearsal to ensure that everything would go smooth on our wedding day. His attendance really gave us peace of mind at a stressful time.On our wedding day, Jake took the reigns as our reception began and we couldn't be happier with the results. He was flawless as emcee, taking the time to learn everyone in our wedding party's name. Once the music started, Kyle had a big crowd on the dance floor all night! He played all of the songs we asked for and just knew what to play besides. We could have gone on for many more hours. Many guests raved about Jake and Kyle after the wedding and the next day. | DJ Broadway Jake - Total Package Weddings - GRADE: A+ My wife and I live and work in Myrtle Beach, SC. We love the Caribbean and decided to have our wedding at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Aside from the location and the photography, the most important decision for us was chosing a wedding DJ for our reception! Being a destination wedding it was going to be a smaller event (50 guests), and we wanted a DJ who was going to be able to keep the party going, and the dance floor full for the entire reception! We absolutely made the right decision by hiring DJ Broadway Jake from Total Package Weddings in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have known Broadway Jake for years, but never had a chance to see him DJ a wedding, until a couple friends of ours got married last October in Myrtle Beach. He was the DJ at their wedding, and after seeing the party at their reception, we knew we had to have him come to Cancun, Mexico with us, and DJ our wedding too! My wife is very into music, and spent months putting together her own music list for the wedding day. Sort of a personal soundtrack for her big day. A couple weeks before our wedding, we sat down with DJ Broadway Jake in his office, and went over every last detail of the wedding day. From the ceremony timeline, to the very last song at the reception, he had every last detail. We flew Broadway Jake to Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort with us, and it was the best decision we have ever made. Not only did he act as the DJ, but he also helped us during every process of the wedding day. He is very detail oriented, and clearly very very good at what he does. He came to the ceremony rehearsal and helped us out with the walk-through. He has done this so much, it was clear he knew exactly how everything should be executed. On the wedding day, he was in the reception room early, setting up with me and making sure everything was perfect. He got the ceremony location early, made sure everyone knew their places and roles, and coordinated the music for the ceremony. At the reception, he took care of all the details. From announcing the bridal party as we were introduced to showing us exactly the best way to stand when cutting the cake. He really is as much of a wedding planner as he is a full service DJ. Once the dance music started, no one wanted to leave the dance floor. The dance floor was packed for the entire night. We even had some of the Moon Palace Resort staff out on the dance floor with us!!!! The music and the DJ can literally MAKE the party at a wedding reception, and I know we made the right decision. Just about every single one of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I saw numerous guests walking up to Broadway Jake after the reception to congratulate HIM on a job well done (something I don't think I have ever seen before at a wedding). | Don't look anywhere else for your wedding DJ! Jake was absolutely amazing. He did everything we wanted and then some. He was there at our rehearsal to help organize the ceremony, he had or got any music we wanted, and did things we wanted before we even had to tell him. He had 3 different set ups for our wedding - one on the beach for our ceremony, one for cocktail hour, and one for the reception. Nothing was ever a problem for him, or was an extra charge. On top of all that, the music was AMAZING! Everyone at the wedding said he was the best wedding DJ they have ever heard. He kept the party going all night. We gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception and he let us customize it as much as we wanted. We picked our ceremony music, but gave him some discretion to mix up the cocktail hour and reception music which was a great idea because he made it even better. Jake was amazing! From the beginning when we were searching for a DJ, we chose him based on his webpage. We put a lot of trust into that webpage and it did not disappoint! We are not from South Carolina, so web pages, phone calls and emails were all we had to plan from. Jake was so friendly and personable from the start! By the day of the wedding, I felt like we were friends and his knowledge and professionalism put me at ease. Everything was perfect! From the ceremony music, to cocktail hour to the very last song- Perfection! Of course, I was so concerned about everything being on time and perfect, but go figure we were running behind! He had the perfect playlist to keep everyone on the dance floor for hours, which is exactly what I wanted! Jake made everything so easy and as stress free as possible. I was late on getting him the playlist for the ceremony and reception, however he continued to assure me I was fine. Jake was professional and willing to work with everything thrown in his direction. | DJ Jake, There is not enough words i can type for a referral for your future brides but I'll do my best! We booked Jake literally last second to do our wedding in the Bahamas at Atlantis. We read a review on his website from a couple who used him in Mexico and after reading it i knew if their was one person who could save our last second wedding changes to the Bahamas it was Jake. He was amazing at our rehearsal, we had hired a lady who once Jake started talking to her just turned over the reins to him because she was so impressed at how well he could just get it done in such a crunch. Without ever hearing him DJ you can imagine the anxiety that comes with booking someone you've never heard, but after reading his reviews, our stress over this was relieved, to say he didn't disappoint would be an understatement, he was amazing. My new mother in law said it best, the most reassuring thing he offers isn't his talent, isn't his work ethic, it's how calm he stayed during for us what was the most stressful moments of putting this together on the fly due to my dad's illness. | By far the best decision we made regarding our beach wedding was choosing Jake as our DJ. Not only did he come to our rehearsal, but he basically ran the whole thing. I had never heard of DJ's attending a rehearsal let alone running them. The night of our rehearsal I had friends and family asking me who that was running the rehearsal. When I told them it was our DJ they were impressed, we got just as many compliments on our choice of DJ as we did our food and cake. At our wedding he kept things moving and the dance floor full the entire night. At the wedding one of my grandparents got sick and had to leave, the next day Jake was following up with me not about the wedding, but checking in to see how my grandfather was. | Best wishes! - Bridget and Jason I recently got married at Brookgreen Gardens in Pawleys Island. I had the pleasure of having Jake as our DJ. I had previously attended a wedding in Conway where he was the DJ, and left the event so impressed with the job he had done! He really seemed to direct the flow of events at the reception in a comfortable and fun way. We enjoyed it so much! Months later I ran into the bride and told her how much we thought of her DJ. Her response was that EVERYONE had the same reaction. She actually said that many of her guests later commented on the great DJ...not her dress, the flowers, or cake! This is when I knew I needed Jake at my wedding. Needless to say I received his contact information highly-regarded, from a newlywed. Having seen him in action, I knew that aspect of the wedding would be completely taken care of with Jake. After contacting Jake to ask about possibly working our wedding, I was really amazed at the attention to detail that he takes. He had a list of questions for me that addressed things that I had not even thought about. His experience is evident and in speaking to him, I felt at ease. With all the stress of wedding planning, I really appreciated vendors like him who made me feel so comfortable. He was so professional and quick to respond to any questions I had. He had great suggestions about what would work best for different parts of the event. What I like most about our experience with Jake is his ability to improvise in unexpected situations. He is more than a DJ. He was able to go-with-the flow- and even helped facilitate the flow of traffic to the food stations to avoid wait-time for guests in a fun way. He took unexpected song requests and really tailored things to our specific style. To top things off, Jake surprised us at the end of the reception by handing us the soundtrack to our entire wedding on CD. This was the icing on the cake. | My wedding day was the best day of my life (as it should be) and a huge reason why it went so perfectly was my dj jake! Little did I know he has worked with literally every one in myrtle and has built a business relationship with so many people. Literally everyone involved was so excited to work with jake! The wedding planner I wanted was booked, but after meeting jake I realized that he not only would dj but be the planner as well! He literally does it all! Not only did he come to the rehearsal to organize that, but he came to the site earlier in the week just to plan his set up. Saying he goes above and beyond doesn't do it justice. You will get more for your money. By far best dj on the beach. The feel of my wedding depends on the dj and he did it better than I had imagined. | Hi Jake, Here's our review! DJ Jake was our "Master of Ceremonies ", the "Guru of Organization" and the "Bomb.com" of our wedding! We got married in Surfside Beach, SC on 4-5-14. It was perfect, the weather, the sun, the sand. Jake lead our guests and attendants, a crazy fun crew of family members, into position like a champion. I never once worried if they would be in the right order or would it look like I wanted it to, the picture I had in my head. He went above and beyond the position of a DJ! Not only did he take our music selections and play them all but he took requests, added new selections when we needed some "let's get this party rockin" music, plus he personalized the music that our attendants walked down to... A complete, special heartfelt surprise to everyone and was a huge highlight to the ceremony! This guy rocks, seriously it was flawless and perfect! Jake is an amazing artist. | I saw Jake’s name on the recommended list of vendors for the Grande Dunes Ocean Club; I checked the website and emailed for a price quote. Jake called me and discussed services and fees. The price seemed great, especially for the type of service and equipment that would be provided. I emailed Jake my concerns, biggest one was my (now) husband’s and my cultural difference. Jake responded and I decided I would trust his services, especially since I was planning a wedding 800 miles away. As discussed, I met Jake and Miriam at rehearsal. They were already setting up and walked us through our day and our music. My husband and I were so pleased they would be providing the DJ service at our wedding. Jake and Miriam were not only professional but very personable and easy to work with. The day of our wedding Jake and Miriam were a huge part of our entire day and they EXCEEDED our expectations. | Jake was the only one we wanted to be our Dj at our wedding, there was no question about that. He is amazing at what he does. What we didn't know was how great he was at every other aspect of the wedding. He drove all the way to folly beach the day before our wedding to go over everything with us. The day of the wedding he had everything planned out. He and Miriam timed everything perfectly. He was not only a DJ but basically our coordinator for the whole day. Our ceremony was on the beach which was no problem for him. We had him sing "I won't give up" for the bride walking down the aisle and of course he did great. All of our guests were raving about how they thought it was a recording until they looked back and realized he was singing it right there on the beach. During our reception the dance floor was always full and there was never a dull moment. We also had karaoke which all of our guests loved! Jake and Miriam both have great personalities. | Here you go! I hope it's not too long--feel free to cut whatever you'd like! And THANK YOU again. I mean every word in this review and our guests still mention how great you were when we reminisce about the wedding. I've never heard people mention the DJ when we talk about other family members' and friends' weddings. :) I HIGHLY recommend Jake as your wedding/event DJ without reservation! He went far above and beyond to make our wedding day go as planned. Music and the DJ were one of the most important things on my list as a bride, so I was nervous about finding a DJ based on online reviews since I am from out of town. We were also on a budget, and he was very affordable without comparison. I'm writing this review so you can have the same positive experience with a DJ that we had with Jake. I love music and wanted to handpick many of the songs, and he made it clear that I could do whatever I pleased and he would fill in the gaps based on my other requests. He couldn't have done that more perfectly. His fee includes complete personalization to do whatever you'd like, and we were especially happy that it included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music set-ups (which, for us, were in all different areas of the venue), plus uplighting! He emcee'd our entire wedding and also became our impromptu day-of wedding coordinator. We didn't have a wedding day coordinator or planner, and as soon as I told him this at our rehearsal, he stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly. Our officiant couldn't attend the whole rehearsal, so Jake immediately offered to run the entire rehearsal for us, which we were so relieved about! He knew exactly what he was doing and made me feel comfortable going into the wedding day. He was the first to arrive for the rehearsal, came at 8am to set-up for our 5pm wedding to make sure everything was perfect, and checked in with me throughout the hours leading up the wedding to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had to change the ceremony location due to rain and he quickly adapted and changed the music set-up. He was flexible and easy-going with changes to made sure that everything happened the way we envisioned it. Jake helped gather bridal party members when needed, checked in with me towards the end of the reception to make sure he played everything I wanted and to see if he missed anything, and he made a point to follow the Information Questionnaire that I filled out, which I appreciated. At the end, he even gave us CD's with every single song from our wedding--who does that?! We received SO many compliments from the bridal party and guests about how great our DJ was, and my husband and I always say that our wedding wouldn't have turned out as perfect as it did without him. He was hands-down our wedding VIP, and trust me when I tell you that you will not find a DJ who provides the quality and service that he did. Wedding planning can be stressful and Jake will provide you the peace of mind you deserve on your wedding day. |

Jake is more than just a DJ, he coordinates everything from start to finish. With him you will feel like you have hired more than a DJ, as he is more a complete wedding planner. Our wedding ceremony was located in the courtyard of the Hilton at Kingston Plantation, and the reception was located in the 16th floor conference room. Jake had everything setup at both locations so there was not one delay in the transition from ceremony to reception. I personally gave him a request of more than 100 songs and he had everything available for which we asked. | My husband and I planned our Myrtle Beach wedding from NY. Jake absolutely MADE our ceremony and our reception! We had met with Jake several times prior to the wedding and he wanted us to tailor the music to our liking as much as possible. He helped run the rehearsal to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Jake's fun personality and friendliness shined through during our entire wedding day. He was set up way before the ceremony and played every song we asked him to throughout the day and night. The music was not too loud during dinner so guests could talk and he made sure we stayed on our time line. I cannot say enough great things about Jake! All of our guests had a blast including ourselves and everyone danced the night away! Jake and his assistant gave us the party we always wanted for our wedding and helped us create so many memories. | When planning our big day we knew exactly who we wanted to DJ our wedding and that man was Jake. We knew our day would run smoothly with no issues. Jake goes above and beyond a DJ by coordinating everything for you. He is very organized, professional, and able to accommodate last minute requests. We had a small intimate wedding of 50 people but it felt like 100 on the dance floor. Jake knew just at the right moment to slow it down so loved ones could dance and just when to pick it back up to keep the party going. | Jake was absolutely incredible for our wedding! My husband and I planned our wedding from DC and before we even had our venue, we had decided on Jake. He absolutely made our ceremony and reception perfect and fun! We spoke with Jake several times before, and he helped us plan the perfect music for every aspect of our wedding. Jake also helped to run our rehearsal and answered any questions we had. On the day of our wedding, he was there very early to set everything up. He included two setups for both outside and inside, and had beautiful uplighting to compliment our wedding colors. He worked with our venue and photographer all night long to make sure everything went as planned and to keep us on time! My husband and I even forgot to give our venue our lineup for our reception introductions, but Jake had all of the information and we didn't even need to worry about it. We were able to enjoy every aspect of our wedding thanks to Jake! He played all of the music we wanted and included his own to make sure everyone had fun dancing. Jake definitely kept the party going all night long! Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding. Our goal was for our guests to have a great time at our wedding, and Jake absolutely made that happen. At the end of the night, Jake even gave us multiple cd's of all of our music that he played at our wedding. This is such a wonderful keepsake that we will love listening to for years to come. | Jake was everything we could have asked for and more! I planned my May wedding at the Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach, all the way from PA and he made the planning process so easy and smooth. He, unlike other vendors, did not require a deposit to hold the date. Once my fiance and I met with him in February, we knew we had made the right choice. He even came to the rehearsal the night before to help coordinate everything!!! We were just amazed by the extra little things he did the day of the wedding, it made it even that much more special. Not only did he keep checking on me while we were getting ready to see if there was anything he could handle for us, but he also took it upon himself to take the extra rose petals that the flower girl didn't use and sprinkled them around the fireplace. He was practically like having a wedding planner!!! He made sure everything ran perfectly and remained on time. Everyone commented after the wedding how awesome Jake was. He even did the uplighting at no additional charge, when other vendors were charging alot per light. We had him for the entire night - he did the music on the beach for our ceremony, the cocktail hour by the pool, and the reception inside the Ocean Club. He also wasn't going to charge us extra if the night ran over on time. Another great touch that really surprised us was that he made a bunch of CDs for us to keep....with everything from the wedding ceremony music, to the special dances (father/daughter, etc), to our fast and slow song requests....every song we requested to be played at our wedding we now have as a memory to look back on. If you need a DJ, look no further, Jake is your man! I just cannot say enough great things about him! I don't see how any other DJ could top him. | As a mom of an adult daughter, you dream of the day she becomes a bride. Recently I had the opportunity to see my youngest marry her childhood best friend. The experience was simply amazing. With both of them serving our country in the USAF the planning fell to me. This was an honor and a formidable task to say the least. I was pretty good at the simple things, but had no ideas on vendors. The owner of the venue gave me a few ideas, but to me the music needed to be special. I received the name of a DJ from a coworker who had recently used him for her wedding. DJ Jake from Myrtle Beach. What the heck; I gave him a call. From the first conversation I knew this was the guy for us. He asked no deposit, he respects the kids service by having no demands of cancellation payment, and he even offered to show up to the rehearsal to see that things went smoothly. Jake became indispensable throughout the rehearsal and ceremony. Showing up not on time but early, took control of the entire coordination of the timeline, orchestrated a smooth transition of every moment during this special day. He and his assistant were the epitome of professionalism, but by the end of the evening they were family. From the rehearsal until the last song of the night I can not praise Jake enough!! | My wife and I were recently married and we had hired Jake and his assistant to DJ our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. They were very professional, personable and absolutely amazing! We had a small wedding so we had no rehearsal, Jake took control of everything down to the last detail and got us down the aisle in the proper order. He even drove down to the beach to pick us up after our wedding pictures. He kept us on time for the whole event, because of course we had lost all track of time at that point. We met with Jake and picked out some of our music we wanted and he chose the rest to fill in the other spots. His music choices were amazing and really kept the whole event flowing wonderfully. We would highly recommend Jake and his team for any wedding or event. We could not have been any more pleased with them and their service. We received many compliments from our guests on the DJ. | DJ Jake and his team truly made our wedding amazing!! Not only was the music exactly what we wanted but Jake made sure that everything ran as smooth as possible. Jake and his team were professionals but also genuinely enjoy what they do! The most important thing to my husband and I was that our guests danced and had a great time and they absolutely did!! They danced the night away and we did too! Our wedding was in October and everyone is still talking about it like it was last week. Some guests even said it was the best time that they ever had! Even with torrential rain , our wedding at the Hilton was a dream come true! Big thanks to Jake and his assistant Andrea, and Robin and Kimberly at the Hilton for such an amazing day!
